| | I'm basically just getting this out of my system because it's been knocking around in my head for a few days.
Things that I will ALWAYS associate with Justin (mostly because I only experienced them with him):
Venture Bros (didn't really care enough about it for it to be ruined for me, but I probably will never watch it again)
Lucy, Daughter of the Devil (all jokes from this EXCELLENT series are completely ruined for me)
All of the songs by Sigur Ros and Sufjan Stevens given to me by him, plus anything at all by Of Montreal (ruined)
Munchkin (especially Cthulu Munchkin - I don't even know if I can date a gamer again after Justin)
My Super Friends with Benefits shirt (I will almost certainly give it away to goodwill with a lot of other things)
Gold Acura Legends (Doug drove a black one, too - do not date guys who drive an Acura Legend, self!)
Futurama (one of his favorite shows - don't know if I'll ever be able to watch it again)
Arrested Development (another of his favorites - DEFINITELY won't be able to watch this again)
Veronica Mars (and this pisses me off because I loved this show, and I didn't get to finish watching it)
The West Wing (another good show that I won't be able to watch for awhile, anyway! curses!)
Watchmen (the movie AND the graphic novel, which he bought for me)
Judd Apatow movies (this ALSO pisses me off because I enjoy them, and it still hurts to think about them)
Adventureland (basically the impetus for him to actually start the breakup conversation he'd already been thinking of having)
Madam Lu (which sucks, but only until I move away from SB, after which I'd probably never eat there again, anyway)
Achewood (but I haven't kept up with this in AGES, anyway)
The names Mr. Man and Shmoopy (don't ask)
Any other gifts given to me by him in the long course of our relationship
Other things I can't think of right now, but will probably give me a jolt when I see them/they occur to me
Things that are too cool to allow their association with Justin to ruin them:
My What We Need More of Is Science and my Hangman shirts (which are both too small for me but also way too cool to give up)
My Nintendo DS (he gave it to me as a gift, and the guilt will make me crazy for a long time)
My Obama bobble-head (but it's WAY TOO COOL to hide away forever - I'll just have to tough it out)
CrushCakes and CrushCafe (anyway, Shannon would kill me if I stopped going there before I move away)
The stickers he made for me to put on my car (but there they will stay)
Frozen yogurt places (especially Rockin' Yogurt)
San Diego Comic Con
Lunar eclipses (luckily it'll be MORE than enough time before the next one of these is good enough for me to watch it and get all nostalgic)
Facial hair
Persian food
Azure Ray (GORGEOUS music!)
Meeting Joss Whedon!
More later... it's late, but I still have to list things I can stop making an effort to like/understand now that I'm not dating him, things I really hope to be able to do/enjoy with someone in the future that I couldn't with Justin, and things that need to be made clear at the outset of the next relationship so that I can save myself and potential dates a lot of pain and misery.
